The use of this image, "Marshland Landscape," is a gift from the artist, Jonathan Green, to “Linda Ketner for Congress” in recognition of Linda Ketner’s many years of support for the environment, the arts and the people of South Carolina.
The painting is
held in a private collection, and only 800 copies of this print are available.
Unsigned copies are available to Ketner supporters for a $100 donation. A limited number of
signed copies are available for a $300 donation.
More About Jonathan GreenJonathan Green was born in Gardens Corner, SC, a small Gullah community near Beaufort. Green graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1982. While his appeal and perspective are truly modern and cosmopolitan, Green looks to the familiar images of his ancestral home for the subjects of his paintings. Green’s work, steeped in the traditions of family, community and life in the Lowcountry, summons up images from his personal experiences to charge his art with a special vibrancy and intimacy that has thrilled and charmed viewers around the world.
